1984: Company Deweerdt was founded. A familial business who is specialized in the distribution of non-ferrous metals to different foundries in the BENELUX.
Metal provided from ISO-normed melters who are well-known in the European market. They are working together with the most advanced technology-based foundries and offer the best price/quality ratio.
From the first moment service, flexibility, languageskills and know-how were given to the customer.
1984 – now : Development of the activities to different departments. Systematically our team increases with people who are specialized in different domains. Not only in non-ferrous but in every kind of niche-technics.
For the metalbranche, we go to reschoolings on a regular base at certified institutes in foundrytechnics, so we can offer our customers an even better service: development of analyses on customers demand, solving problems in casting and melting, etc.
Nichetechnics: the interaction between our powerteam and the university of Gent or specialized instances got us to a strong knowledge in the protection of doors, total control of humidity, solving extreme situations … We are always one step ahead.
